Backyard Blooms is a small, family-run flower farm in Greenville, South Carolina. We grow and arrange fresh-cut flowers for everyday moments, meaningful celebrations, and hard days that call for a little extra care.

We believe flowers can brighten more than a room. They can celebrate a new baby, thank a teacher, offer comfort, or simply make the kitchen table feel more welcoming.

Every bouquet is made with care, and we hope each one brings a little joy wherever it goes.

Led by the seasons

The garden sets the pace around here.

We grow sustainably with care for the flowers, the farm, and the land that supports them. Each stem is cut when it’s ready, often during the cooler morning and evening hours, then gathered and arranged by hand.

Because we grow with the seasons, we don’t offer the exact same mix year-round. Colors, textures, and varieties change as the garden does, giving every bouquet its own unique character.

The result is flowers that are fresh, natural, and true to the moment.

Subscriptions make it easy to enjoy fresh flowers throughout the growing season, while flower buckets and DIY wedding flowers let you create your own arrangements for gatherings, celebrations, or simply “because.”

We currently offer local pickup only in Greenville. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll email you with pickup details.

Meet Meredith

Hi, I’m Meredith, the flower farmer and florist behind Backyard Blooms.

Needless to say, the garden is my happy place. Growing flowers is therapeutic for me; I love the entire process, from deciding what to plant to watching each bouquet come together.

Some of my favorite days are spent in the garden with my kids, creating something beautiful together. They make excellent harvest helpers, pajamas, bedhead, and all. Our dog Abbey, my garden sidekick and honorary fifth child, is usually nearby too.

I believe cut flowers can brighten both a home and a mood. One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing someone pick up their flowers and watching their face light up. Whether a bouquet is celebrating something wonderful or offering comfort during a difficult time, I love knowing it can bring a little extra joy when it’s needed.
